# SustainLive

> UniFi network and security installer for house builders, architects and homeowners in Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex: WiFi, CCTV cameras, intruder alarms and door access, designed from the drawings before first fix.

We design UniFi systems in the UniFi Design Center from the architect's GA drawings before first fix, then supply, configure, test and certify them. The main contractor's electrician runs the Cat6a cable; the contractor chooses whether we or their electrician terminate the links and fix the equipment. Footage is recorded on a drive at the property, with no monthly subscription. The lead designer is Ubiquiti UniFi Full Stack Professional (UFSP) certified.

## Key facts

- The intruder alarm is self-monitored through the app and nominated keyholders. It is not NSI or SSAIB graded and does not bring a police response.
- UniFi smoke and CO alarms add phone alerts; they do not replace the mains-powered, interlinked detection Building Regulations require in a new house.
- Camera recordings stay on a drive at the property, with no cloud subscription. Retention depends on the cameras and settings and is estimated in each proposal.
- Site surveys, coverage maps and priced proposals are paid design work, started once agreed. The price is fixed in the proposal and equipment is ordered only after sign-off. Payment is in three stages.
- 30 days' support after handover and a 30-day workmanship guarantee, on top of the manufacturer's warranty.
- Travel is included across Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex.
- Existing homes: access points linked wirelessly (mesh), no drilling, typically about half the speed of a cabled access point.
