How we work

A programme, not a promise

Every project follows the same clear sequence — specified up front, coordinated with your architect and electrician, and finished with training and support.

  1. Initial

    Proposal & design

We take your floor plans and produce a full proposal: estimated WiFi coverage maps for every floor, a camera coverage plan, a complete schedule of equipment with product codes, a schedule of works, a programme and a staged payment timeline.

  2. Sign-off

    Client meeting

We walk through the specification together, adjust anything you’d like changed, and obtain sign-off. Equipment is only ordered after this meeting — nothing is committed before you are.

  3. Pre-install

    Site survey & prep

An on-site meeting with your electrician to confirm cable routes, power locations and mounting positions — and to verify line-of-sight for any building bridges.

  4. Day 1

    First fix & core network

Rack assembly and mounting, core network setup, cable termination and testing, camera installation and positioning, building bridge installation.

  5. Day 2

    Second fix & commissioning

Access point installation and optimisation, alarm and door access installation, security and network set-up — then full testing, commissioning and a client walkthrough.

  6. After

    Training & support

A training session on the UniFi apps, full documentation handover, a 30-day support period and a 30-day workmanship guarantee. Future reconfigurations and upgrades on request.

Working together

Who does what

We coordinate closely with your main contractor or electrician so responsibilities are clear from day one — it’s all set out in the schedule of works.

SustainLive

Your electrician / contractor

  • Mains power to the rack location
