For homeowners

Better WiFi in the house you already have. No drilling.

A UniFi mesh system: a router and a few access points, placed where the signal is needed and linked to each other wirelessly. Nothing chased into the walls, nothing to make good. For homes across Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex.

Estimated 5 GHz coverage in a two-storey house: one router and three access points, no cabling.

How it works

Four parts, one network.

  1. 01

    One router

Plugs into your existing broadband. Your provider stays the same.

  2. 02

Access points where you need them

On a shelf or a piece of furniture, each with a small power adapter to a nearby socket.

  3. 03

    Wireless links

The access points talk back to the router over WiFi, so no cable is run through the house.

  4. 04

    One network name

Phones and laptops move between rooms without reconnecting.

Questions about WiFi in an existing home

Can you improve WiFi without running new cables?

Yes. The access points link back to the UniFi router over WiFi, so nothing is chased into the walls. A wirelessly linked access point is typically about half the speed of a cabled one, which in most houses is still faster than the broadband. We test every room on the day and move anything that underperforms.

Do I need to change broadband provider?

No. The router plugs into your existing broadband and your provider stays the same.

How is the price worked out?

From a floor plan, or a few photos and rough room sizes: how many access points the house needs, the equipment, installation and travel. Once you want to go ahead we draw up a coverage map and one fixed price.

Can I add cameras later?

Yes. A video doorbell or a few cameras go on the same system and the same app. Cameras
